WEEK 10 & 11

Ending my 11th week we celebrated our 1st year wedding anniversary and were able to hear a mighty strong and fast heartbeat today of our little one! We went to the birthing facility for our midwife prenatal visit and all went well. I have continued to feel better over the past 2 weeks and becoming more active with no more nausea. At times forgetting I'm pregnant and doing too much so getting out of breath easily is the main new thing right now. Digesting my proteins has been a problem since pregnancy and I have not been eating much protein - at a time when I need lots of it, I have now started taking Digestive Enzymes from Natures' Sunshine that are helping great. This formula includes hydrochloric acid and is just what is needed with low stomach acid. Hopefully this will help me increase my protein in my diet and not suffer the indigestion effects.

My mind has started wondering into the future of the many questions of "what about when I go back to work after the delivery?" "my infant child can't go to strangers for day care!" Michael's mind has been advancing even further down the road "what if it's a girl?" "one day she will be 16 and a boy is going to want to take her out and I will have to shoot him" Well we have since grounded ourselves in the present moment and decided we will roll with the future as it comes knowing we will be taken care of and will be blessed with all of our needs being met. :)
